GUIDED TRIPS

The LEHIGH RIVER is a TAILWATER that flows from the Francis E. Walter Dam located in WHITEHAVEN 32 miles north of JIM THORPE.

This Dam provides cool water year round, creating excellent conditions for Trout and the insects they feed on.

I provide a Walk/Wade Guide service for One or more Fisherman along this Beautiful River and its Scenic Tributaries.

Trips can be suited to your Fishing/Hiking abilities. Small streams or Big Rivers, right next to the road or hikes over a mile. I,m very flexible about this and with some discussion I,m sure we can find the best trip for you.

Lodging and meals are also available at My House just up the road from the Lehigh River.
I have new beds in the guest bedrooms and  ALCOHOL IS NO PROBLEM!

Proper Casting and Fly presentation is the key to successful Fly Fishing.

JTFC is not limited to Freshwater Fishing. I offer Guided Trips to the Beautiful Island Beach State Park at the New Jersey Shore. This Fishery offers Striped Bass, Weakfish and Blues on secluded uncrowded back-bay areas and Beach fronts. To occupy the Non-Fisherman, these areas offer Wildlife viewing (bird blinds) and Natural Scenic Trails on this 11 mile long Wildlife Refuge. There's something for everyone to enjoy.

Beach access is limited to 4WD vehicles with proper permit only. Be driven along the Beach and site cast to feeding Schools of Fish.

The Island Beach tours are not limited to Fly Rods only. Here I also use Spin Cast equipment with Plugs or Bait depending on conditions, for our Non-Fly Fishing Guests.

Here trips last ALL DAY ! with a sandwich lunch, and later in the day Dinner cooked on an open fire right on the Beach!
